dude this is singapore....every club or bar you go to is packed with asians..ESPECIALLY the foreign ones...cuz we have SPG's lurking those bars hunting down Caucasian men...

anyways, ive listed down the bars that most foreigners hang out at...

Brix - This is the site of the infamous old Brannigans, located beneath the Grand Hyatt Hotel on Scotts Road. A few years ago Brannigans was closed and one of the trendiest bars in Singapore re-opened it in its place. Decorated in a refreshing use of, yes you guessed it - bricks, this very popular bar gets very busy at weekends and late during the week. When the bar opened management said they were trying to keep away the 'professional ladies' that Brannigans was so famous, at first they succeeded but recent visits suggest that this policy has been relaxed or was simply too difficult to enforce. Prices are staggeringly high with a beer costing around Sin $ 17, wines by the bottle can be a cheaper option.

The Bus - Not a bar but a pub crawl! This unique idea offers people the chance to be driven around 4 different pre-determined bars, enjoying some tequila on the bus and stopping at the different bars to enjoy more! The bus generally departs at 19:45 and runs till late with tickets costing Sin $ 35. This is a fun way to see some of the different bars in Singapore, especially if it is your first visit to Singapore.

Orchard Towers - This is not somewhere to take the wife or girlfriend, but is one tower block on Orchard Road that is full of 'girlie bars' with girls from Thailand, Philippines, China etc. The most famous bar/disco in Orchard Towers is called Top Ten and can be found on the last floor.

Clubs:

Still going strong is Zouk, Jiak Kim Street, one of the best-known clubs in town, and good enough to attract famous foreign DJs .It is also home to other clubs within its walls: Velvet Underground, which attracts a more mature crowd and offers a mellower brand of hip; Phuture and the Wine Bar. The place of the moment is The Gallery Evanson Hotel on Orchard Road, within which is Orb, a spacious, two-storey bar playing laidback sounds. Centro 360, at One Fullerton, is a super-hip huge venue, with gay nights on Sunday. The Liquid Room, at the G@llery Hotel, is a dimly lit, retro-style bar on the ground floor, with a large alfresco area and huge dance floor upstairs.

Agree. Why many contractors are using foreign labours mostly are due to the nature of work could not be engauge by Singaporeans. Example, road cleaner, construction worker and grass cutter. For the employer, the cost of hiring a foreign worker is almost equaliant to hiring a Singaporean. But the problem is most Singaporeans are educated now and wanted a job to be in the office or be in the management level, not being a skilled labour. Lets look at Australia. An average tree worker earns A$25 per hour, 35-40 hours a week. thats about A$4000 per month! What about the tree workers in Singapore? If we can encourage more Singaporean to work like the aussie style, by giving a better and attractive incentive, could we bring up the standard? The new Singapore work force will emphasis on being the management level, having university degree and sit in front of a computer. If one day, all the foreign workers would leave Singapore, we will collapes.

Singapore has been described as a playground for the wealthy but Singapore presents more than high-end shopping centers, luxury accommodations or great eating and you can enjoy a fun holydays in that city and you'll discover how with Hotelbye . One of many places many visit in Singapore is the opulent Marina Bay Sands resort complex. Marina Bay is really a place that includes a hotel, high-end luxurious models, mall with a canal operating through it, the ArtScience Museum and the Marina Bay Sands Skypark. The Skypark's is really a vessel where you are able to find an infinity pool that tops the hotel. And, actually only if the hotel guests are permitted to use the share, the remark terrace can be acquired for everyone. The luxury and the beauty of Marina Bay Sands exemplify Singapore's style and help designate an important global town in Southeast Asia.

If you don't want to experience the locals, and want to mix only with westeners... why are you going to Singapore? You may as well stagger down to your local at home! Besides, the drinks are MUCH cheaper at your local! I guarantee that. Otherwise... be daring! Jump on the MRT (or whatever), and get out there and experience Singapore's nightlife, without restricting yourself.
