Singapore has only 2 seasons all year: hot & dry (not raining), and hot & wet (raining). Correction to lifeisfun, Singapore's humidity is very high due to the frequent rains & being close to the equator. So if you are the kind to sweat easily, be prepared to mop your brow often. But the great thing is that most commercial buildings are air-conditioned, so if it's getting a bit hot & free flowing, just duck into the nearest shopping mall for some cool relief.

I will also be going to Singapore in April. Singapore is a tropical country. Its always a bit hot and rains sometimes. You can check actual weathyer history in MSN or yahoo weather forecast.

Wear light clothing. But if you are going for business then you may need to wear suits which you may have to put on and off due to inside of building and outside. I always wear summer clothing and take a suit (if for business just in case). But the weather though hot is not humid, so you won't sweat. Thats a good thing. And most of the times you will be inside some building and they are all airconditioned anyway, including subway.

It's almost the same all year round, either it's very hot or it's raining heavily.
